Senior IT Manager

Responsibilities
Plan and manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, upgrade and support of all information technology and systems company wide;
Define and implement IT policies, procedures and best practices;
Ensure security of data, systems, network access and backup systems to support company’s security and compliance goals;
Benchmark, analyze, report on and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of the IT infrastructure;
Recruit, manage, develop and coach IT staff to build a highly engaged team;
Plan, coordinate and design IT related activities of the company;
Work closely with decision makers to identify, recommend, develop, implement and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization;
Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending;
Practice asset management for IT hardware, software and services;
Assess vendors and develop test strategies for new systems and services.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field;
10+ years of experience in IT operations; 3+ years in the managerial role is a plus;
Proven work experience aligned with the responsibilities of the role;
Hands-on experience with network planning, administration and installation;
Excellent working knowledge of technical management, information analysis, network and systems administration, computer hardware/software systems;
Expertise in systems and data governance;
Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices;
Experience with the helpdesk ticketing system/software;
Project management skills and strong ability to prioritize;
Interpersonal skills to effectively interact and communicate throughout the IT organization with individuals of varying technical abilities.
